I keep seeing things about "demons"-- is that what keeps wandering around outside right now? Talk about a hassle...

Since it sounds pretty out there, I think I'll try to stay inside and out of the way for the most part. Hopefully it's all handled soon.

*in truth, Kou is totally out there in incognito Signer mode, shooting down the demons he spots.

He can tell they're heading for a specific spot. He knows people are handling this too.

But if he gets too directly involved, people're more likely to figure out who he is. Especially since Trendafilka's involved too...

No, for now, he's better off working from the sidelines.*

Speaking of sidelines, in incognito mode you've found a large man who is picking up demons and bashing them against the ground if he's not swinging some weird, archaic looking sword.

He spots an arrow. Looks down. Looks up. Around.

"... Uh. ... thanks? Whoever's... helping? ... Failnaught probably throws energy."

*oh no, this is doubly worse. You see some cloaked person jump from the roof of a building to another building, holding a large bow. Looks to be the source of your assistance, and that's definitely not Failnaught.*

... Probably wants him to follow. Cover fire is good.

He's clambering up the side of the building to try and join you.

"Hey! Thanks for your help! Wanna keep... working on this sort of thing together?!"

I think you'd be better off being down there!

*he puts on a specific dialect-- it sounds looser, and definitely not recognizable as anyone you've heard at recent*

"Well, YEAH. I don't got any decent rifles!

Just coming up to thank ya... kid?"

... Whatever, not like he can judge children doing dangerous things as he scales up and leaps close to you.

"If ya can drink, keep the hood on, meet me at the Gate Bar on the south side. I'll get ya something. Hell, even if ya can't!"

*he backs away a bit. Underneath he's kinda more like this but he keeps his cool. he's cool.*

Well, your thanks is noted. You should still be down there and handling the things going around the place.

"Yeah, yeah. A minute without me ain't gonna be the end of the world."

He waves his sword around.

"... Why the hood though?"

"...Oh, yeah. That makes sense. If ya can keep covering me for as long as ya can, that'd be great."

And with that, he's over the side of the building.

*oh thank god. I hate using that dialect. He goes back to covering from above for Kaz, at least. But soon as the area's cleared out, he's gone.*

::You can run into an Adam, or rather an Eve. Carrying a large sword, who is swinging it around and bisecting Demons in their way.

They look so utterly displeased. Especially when one of your arrows flew by her face.::

*that's-- That's one of the other Signers! He's never really seen her around or doing much, so his information is not exactly clear... but she's the Power Tool Dragon Signer, right? ... ... Least she looks like she's doing something. He's really tempted to just go and challenge her now, but that seems like a bad idea with these things going around.*

[Isabel's burning them. Just. Casting a stream of fire at them. It's working very well.

Occasionally, one tries to attack her from behind.]

[And a big shield shaped like a sunflower appears to block the attack.]

Y'knoooow how we could do this WAY faster?!

We're not crossing.

[Enzo lets out a loud "WEEEEEEH!"

Then they go back to dealing with the demons.]

*he was about to shoot at some of the demons going at the person just spewing fire but Then he realizes who it is. He pauses in his movements, arrow drawn back already. ... helping her won't help anything. He's made it clear where he stands here-- and if he reveals himself uselessly, then she might chase him down. But on the other hand, he should make it clear he's doing something. He spends at least several moments weighing his options, before Black-Winged Dragon finally yells at him in his mind to just shoot already, fed up at his statue-like behavior. Which, he does, striking down one of the demons that was trying to go at Isabel and Enzo from the side.*

You took that one out without even looking at it!

Huh? [Isabel looks back.] I thought you were gonna block that one. I didn't get it.

*While you're both talking, another arrow comes flying out of nowhere-- you can tell it's coming from above, likely one of the rooftops, from it's arc and positioning-- piercing through another demon. And even going through it and striking one that was right behind it too. Though it lingers that time, and you can tell the arrow has a slight glow to it, before vanishing with the creature.*

[Isabel sees it happen this time.]

What the hell--

[Enzo gasps.]

BABOON IS HERE!

It wasn't half of a tree, so I don't think it's him.

[She scorches another one.]

The arrow as made of energy, so -- [She grimaces as realization hits and she starts looking around.]

*okay time to bail on his part.

He shoots off one more into one that's coming a bit aways from you, using the moment that you'd probably be watching the arrow to judge it's origin (least he really hopes so) to get out of there and out of visible sight.*

[She looks when the arrow hits. Looks back at where it came from.

She heads in that direction -- and realizes he's already gone. She doesn't pursue, partially because she has work to do on these demons. Partially because she's too confused to run after him at full blast.]
