Name:Tezaki, Kou [ 手巧 ] [ てざき, こう ]
Birthdate:Jul 13
Name: Tezaki, Kou [ 手巧 ] [ てざき, こう ]
Age: FRESH OUT OF SCHOOL so like 18 years old
Gender: Boy oh boy
Occupation: Highschool graduate, Super Junior League invitee, Signer
Duel Information: Twilight Deck using Blackfeather Darkrage Dragon, mainly
PB/Description: Literally just Takumi from Fire Emblem, how will I get away with this. He does have the Heart Dragon Mark on his arm though.
Personality: Take a salt mine, and shape it into human form, and you have this guy.

This might sound simplistic, but it's theorized that around 70% of his personality is built up from spite and envy towards others, while the other 30% is showboating or heroisms. He absolutely loves to feel like he's special, that he has signifigance in the world, and that things are better because of what he does (as in, clearing out threats and monsters that would bother his home town and the nearby surrounding areas)-- so when something challenges that worldview of his, he starts to stew before it overflows. And needless to say at this point: things have overflown.

His general reactions though on a day to day basis is that he's brash and pretty open book-- he isn't the type to hide his disapproval of things, but he also doesn't hide when he's impressed, either. He's the type who could never truly be conniving or sneaky, because he wears his emotions out on his sleeve.

Otherwise, he likes tea ceremonies, he was into the archery club and kendo club, and of course he enjoys dueling. But maybe sometimes he kinda wishes he hadn't been forced into that specific path, thanks to being the Signer of the Black-Winged Dragon. This doesn't diminish his own natural talent though, as he is definitely skilled in being a Signer and fulfilling the duties set before him.

History: Long ago, when the pyramids were still young...

Okay, that's a bit too far back. Let's think about more like, a decade ago. Before anyone even knew what Synchros were, a young boy ended up coming across a very strange card with a white border: The Black-Winged Dragon. The card communicated to him, to help them. There were problems that would slip through the cracks around his town from dimensions unknown, and it was his destiny to help fix those problems.

Needless to say, the boy, being at an impressionable young age and enjoying the idea of being "special", took to the duties of a Signer like a fish in water. While his achievements are nowhere near as impressive as those of his fellow Signers, he's had a long time to build up not only his arsenal, but also to gain a very thorough understanding of what he can do himself, as a Signer.

Though I mentioned his Fellow Signers, right? Well, here's the thing. Due to his age, he wasn't exactly able to travel to Domino-- his town was actually pretty far away from where Domino is. He'd get the signs that something was going on-- his arm giving a burning sensation whenever the other Signers used their abilities, but having no way to respond to it, or really any idea why it was happening.

It wasn't until the WRGP happened though that he was made aware of the other Signers (which he then yelled at Black-Winged Dragon for not telling him about them, which they could only respond with "you didn't ask.") and their own achievements. The strength they had behind them, and more importantly: the fact that basically all of them were in one spot and handling world-ending threats.

Kou, well... He tried to tell himself that he wasn't mad. He tried to brush it off, saying that what he did was important, too. But as more and more supernatural occurrences centered onto Domino, he could feel his envy and anger about it building up, more and more...

... until he graduated highschool, and they announced the Junior League initiative in Domino-- in fact, he got an invite for it, having made a name for himself in dueling around his area. He had his chance, now. And he decided, nothing is going to stop him from doing this. Nothing.

Abilities: As a Signer, he has a special ability-- indicative of being the Signer of the Heart of the Crimson Dragon, he has the unifying ability to call upon the abilities of those he's defeated or those he's allied with, so long as he's undefeated in a Serious Duel. This can range from being able to use specific abilities (such as kinetic abilities) or having access to specific special cards (such as the other Dragons), but he can usually only gain one ability at a time.
Of course, the twist is that he's never had anyone really to ally with, so the side he leans to is usually defeating others.
Otherwise, he's skilled in movement and in using a bow and arrow, and is half-decent at kendo. Also thanks to years of religious training (his town was much more rural and had a large temple, and in his situation, he was expected to join it) he has knowledge of the methods of exorcisms and sealings.

Duel Spirit:
Name: Black-Winged Dragon/Blackfeather Darkrage Dragon (it's the same dude)
Personality: Laid-back despite his duties as one of the Dragons of the Crimson Dragon. Black-Winged Dragon is the type of guy who'd sit back and let things flow over him, especially with his Signer being generally so dutiful. Not that he hasn't been kinda worried about Kou's recent anger issues, but as long as he's handling problems, it's fine, right?

Black-Winged Dragon does not have any current "human" form, unlike his fellows for the most part, since he'd rather just chill out in his card until it's necessary. But this doesn't stop him from sometimes prodding at Kou and teasing him about things. He thinks Kou needs to lighten up.
History: One of the Dragons, his history is mostly that he's seen as the enigma. The god of the Blackwings, his presence and influence is whispered between winged monsters, and is said to be the source of the gusts that flow through valleys, the night that falls upon the land, the winds that carry their wings.

Black-Winged Dragon finds it all very flattering, but he feels like he isn't that great. But, even monsters need their myths and beliefs, and he makes no moves to disprove anything they try to claim.

However, he is, if anything, punctual-- so punctual, that he went off to find his Signer and beat basically everyone else to the punch by appearing when Synchros were only a thought in a card designer's mind. Not that his Signer could use him at first... but, you know, get that squared away before anything else.

At some point in his time with his Signer, he achieved his Blackfeather Darkrage Dragon form, which is absolutely non-indicative of his Signer's current issues.
Abilities: He's a dragon and he's theorized to have created many of the natural elements of the wind-based worlds of the 12 Dimensions, and is considered to be the worshiped god of the Blackwings. He denies much of this, but it hasn't actually been disproved.
Also he is cursed with some pretty underwhelming card effects compared to his brothers and sisters.
