So, I started work at Duel Academy since around the start of the year, as a teaching assistant.
... I think I'm still confused as to how dueling schools actually work, but then again, I'm in the history section.
Maybe I turned out pretty well growing up in the middle of nowhere and not being able to go to one of the special schools, anyway?

Yeah, I noticed all of the sports, too.
Along with dueling. But I noticed there's no real dedicated Action Dueling sector outside of a specific elective you can sign up for.
Same with riding duels. There's an elective to learn how to drive a D-Wheel, but it isn't required, is it?

The school's basically focused on the core fundamentals in case the elective variants fall out of favor, from what I get.
Well, Action Duels are huge in my hometown, back in the Colosseum where my Dad's champ.

I guess things kinda change a little too fast for them to expect them to stick around. I remember that Riding Duels fell out of favor for a while there before they ended up coming back in bigger areas, right?
Action Duels are still pretty popular, but they're not as "big" as they were a year or two ago... But Duel Academy seems like it's always had a big sports sector for some reason.

It's better for Kaiba Corp to focus on the fundamentals rather than chasing fads, especially being a large whatever. Big ships turn slowly.
And I've tried asking apparently it has to do alot with. Fitness. The school wants to make sure their Duelists actually look good, and have good endurance and have a strong sports star energy.
