*So, as you may know, Kou has been working at DA now. This isn't too much of a secret, though he hasn't really given a reason for why he's doing this.

Well, you may find him acting upon one of these reasons, later in the night on the island or in the city [You Choose Which]-- perhaps you're someone who just doesn't follow the rules of curfew or you're late coming from things you had to do, but you'll find some guy following another, certain creepy shut-in dude.

If he's in the city, he's in his dumb incognito outfit, but if he's on the island, he isn't bothering with it. Stands out too much in that situation.*

::There is absolutely a girl breaking curfew. In fact she's out in yoga pants, a sports bra and a sports jacket (mostly zipped up), heading towards the woods. Her hair is naturally in Twin Tails.::

*yeah, well, there's a blonde guy sneaking around.

You might recognize him as the aide for the history teachers, but also it's late at night.*

::I have not eaten my best friend/girlfriend's cat soul, so I don't have night vision yet. She's idly making her way at a decent but steady pace.

She's shifting her weight, readying to pick a fight if necessary.::

*once you get close enough, you notice that he's... watching for something? He's standing behind a tree conspicuously enough... barely breathing so he'll stay quiet...*

::She's trying to keep her distance as she doesn't want to tip off you authority figures that she's out here. But what are you up to...? She's moving slowly to try and figure out what you're watching for.::

*Yubel is out late on the streets of Domino City.

For some reason she had a huge craving for Ramen, but with it being so late, most places are closed. Still, there are vending machines that do hot food.
As she is looking around for one, she spots a guy following some other guy.

Wait. She recognises what the first one is wearing.*

Oh. Interesting~

*Giving a smirk, she decides this is much more worth her time than getting a midnight snack, and decides to follow them.*

*yeah, you definitely recognize the one who's doing the following.

And he's trying to be extra sneaky tonight, especially as he follows the other person through the streets (the other guy seems to be... humming some sort of song.)*

*he seems to be watching... some scraggly-haired guy in glasses, who's crouched down by the river that goes through the woods, scratching at the bank with a stick he found.

Weird.*

::She drops to the ground quietly, as if survivalist trained. And slowly crawls a liiiiittttle closer to watch with you, Arrow Dude.::

*Yubel follows curiously at a safe distance, wondering why Kou was following some guy who looked like he spent most of his time not being outside.
Though another part of her was wondering if tonight was the night when she was finally able to see if Kou's secret 'work' was actually being an assassin.

It had been her number one guess on what he actually did.*

*after a few moments of you doing this...*

... can I help you?

*he's keeping his voice down, but.*

*that'd make his job much easier if he was just an assassin, honestly.

He keeps following the other person-- he seems to be leading down one of the alleyways, which Kou is about to follow...

... but then Kou looks around, raising his head slightly in motions, but you can't tell what exactly he's doing thanks to the cover-up. Is he noticing something?*

*Yubel shrinks back between the walls of some of the buildings as Kou stops to look around. She watches him do so quietly, taking a look around herself to see if she can sense anything.*

*... he seems satisfied that if anyone is around, they're probably a distance away...

... so he starts scaling one of the buildings that's next to the alleyway the other person went down.

He's impressively swift about it, too, for someone with no wings to get to places.*

*Impressive, but two can play at that game.

Once he's scaled the building and feels she's out of his sight, she quietly moves over to a building that's nearby that she feels she can keep an eye on him, and the person he's following, from.

She transforms into her regular demonic form and silently flies up towards the top of the second building, making sure that once she's there, she keeps low to avoid detection.*

Shhh!

::Points at scraggly man.::

It's the city. You're walking weird and that other guy is weird. I think I recognize one of those gaits...

Kaz is going to follow you, pulling up his coat and adjusting his headband. But there's also not many near seven foot tall monster men in DA, even if he can creep relatively quietly. He's not REALLY hiding himself though.

*once he's scaled up, he seems to be following the person, tracking him from above.

You can't really tell as well from your position, but the person seems to have stopped, and has crouched down to do something, still humming a tune you can just barely hear...*

*no, yeah, Kou has absolutely noticed you like, more immediately than most.

this is the curse that Trena's senses have brought, and he's definitely looking over his shoulder now as he tries to follow the weird guy.*

Yes, shhh, seriously though, why are you here?

Kaz gives a wave and starts picking up his pace. He's grinning, like it's a game.

... still relatively quiet, especially with how big he is.

*Yubel can't get too close without being detected, so she stops where she is and watches them both from a distance.

What exactly was going on here...?*

*you're not fully sure, but the guy down below seems to be... scratching something into the ground.

He isn't really keeping himself hidden, but given the time of night, most people wouldn't give a second thought to some scraggly looking guy hanging out in an alleyway-- he looks like half a mess anyway.

But he seems to be very careful about whatever he's marking...*

*listen you can't see Kou's face.

But it's definitely one of mild panic right now.

He's going to try to scale one of the buildings instead before you can reach him, hoping that his target doesn't notice him.*

You're on the island and you're pretty keen eyed. ... and keen smelled because you made bad life choices. So you'll probably notice a figure who is ALSO following your quarry. The worst part? They sort of smell like Trena. That distinct Briar smell.
