[LOG: Dueling Velocidictorians? Oh My!]

I've already submitted this as a report to the school, but I'm going to announce it here too:

There are velociraptors on Duel Academy island, and they kidnapped a female student. I didn't get her name since she was in the middle of being kidnapped, but description given matched records to one called "Kiriyama, Hiroko".

I ended up giving chase, but they took cover in some weird building that's deep in the woods, and I can't get in. The school's going to try to see if they get open the door, since going from above results in turrets instead.

I'm saying this to warn students to not go into the woods for a while, and to stay in groups, because I don't know why velociraptors might be doing any kidnapping at all.





... And there's... something else in those woods, too. I can't describe it. But it changes people. Changes what they are. How they can see.

So be careful about things that speak, but don't speak.

Well... it didn't have a name.

But it was big. Galloping next to me, but larger than any sort of horse. And it... Spoke but didn't speak?

I wonder if naming it would... no, no. I'm not going to name any sort of big nameless beast. Not for another week or two. Bigger dinosaurs to fry.

Also, good going on the whole Trena thing. We were hoping it was going to be you that got her. Makes the rest of everything super, super easy.

Absolutely. No one can plan for her, just hope she behaves in a way that'll be helpful.

I am! I think I was going by... Rena or Renat when we worked together with Tarou business, but people's memories of me are fuzzy at best. Not taking it personally anymore.

Right, you were the one who gave the first eyewitness account of the Whale showing up.

I was! Yes! Either your brain is less full of holes than most people, or Trena's having a giant splash on reality like I'd hoped. Whatever the case, pleasure to be working with you again against one of my most hated foes:

Dinosaurs. Birds are a close second, but only because they turn into dinosaurs if you don't yell at them enough.

I didn't have any of those feelings in the first place, so no!

They kidnapped a girl, they were too fast, and that nameless beast asked me if I wanted wings! And then I turned into... this, specifically. And I managed to strike down one of them, but the other got away into a building with turrets installed in it!

Black-Winged Dragon has not stopped being excited about it ever since I stopped suppressing that information, so I've got enough yelling going on.

I heard something about an "anomaly", but that was as far as I know.

At least I can be certain they're not going to eat her or anything, but now that I've had a chance to... rest. I'm going to be going back at that building regardless of if the school figures out a way to get in.

I have a lot of body-shift stuff to get concerned about, really. But I'd appreciate some help about it. I don't think anyone else has suddenly dealt with being a bird, and Black-Winged is more excited about me no longer being his "wingless idiot son".

I've been dealing with random talking animals coming from the woods for months. I thought I had got them all.
This is the first time one of them has been an extinct animal though.

One of them had an old fashioned accent that sounded like it was from another era entirely, but it wasn't modulated or anything.

Thanks. Hopefully the school can figure out something, too. They have some knowledge that there was a facility on the island that matches the general location, but they're being sorta cagey about what it was for.

This is definitely not what I signed up for when I agreed to supervise the Red dorms while Shian's away...
